Is CVora really free?
Yes. Every tool works without payment or sign-up. The site is supported by advertisements shown on article and guide pages.
Do you store my CV?
No. Your details are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back and edit them. They never reach our servers. The one exception is the contact form, which sends us your name, email and message so we can reply.
Why did my saved CV disappear?
Because it lives in your browser. Clearing browser data, using private or incognito mode, or opening the site on a different device means starting fresh. Use the CV version manager to export a backup file you can import anywhere.
The PDF has no colours
In the print dialog, turn on "Background graphics" and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.
Can I add a photo?
Yes, in the Personal details section of the CV maker. It is optional. Gulf employers usually expect one; many Pakistani IT companies and multinationals do not mind either way.
Should I include my CNIC, date of birth or religion?
The CV maker has optional fields for them because some Pakistani and Gulf employers ask. Leave them blank for international applications. Never put a full CNIC number on a CV you are posting publicly — the privacy cleaner tool removes it.
Which template should I use?
Classic or Modern for large companies and anywhere screening software is likely. Sidebar for creative roles and small firms. All of them are built to be readable by ATS software.
Does the CV checker guarantee I will pass an ATS?
No, and no free tool can. It checks your CV against twelve published rules and explains each one. It is not an ATS score.
Can I use the documents commercially?
Yes. Invoices, certificates, business cards and everything else you create here carry no watermark and no licence restriction.
Is there a mobile app?
No, but the site works on any phone browser. Add it to your home screen for an app-like icon.
