CVora ("we", "us") operates the website cvora.app and any custom domain that points to it. This page explains what information is handled when you use the site, and what choices you have.
What stays on your device
CVora does not require an account. The details you enter into the CV maker, cover letter maker, application tracker, typing academy and every other tool are stored only in your own browser, using a feature called local storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers and we cannot see it. It stays on your device until you clear it — using the "Start over" or "Clear all" buttons inside a tool, or by clearing your browser's site data.
What we do collect
Contact form. If you write to us through the contact page we store your name, email address and message so that we can reply. This is kept in our database (hosted by Supabase) and is deleted on request.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard web-server logs, which include IP addresses and browser type, for security and operational purposes. We do not use these to identify individual visitors.
Public content. The tool list, templates, blog posts and page text are loaded from our database so that we can update them. Reading them does not send us anything about you.
Cookies and advertising
We show advertisements on article and guide pages through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Ads are shown only on content pages, never on the typing practice or game screens.
Consent
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to count page views. This does not identify you and does not build a profile.
Third-party services

- Supabase — database for public content and contact messages
- Google Fonts — the site's typeface is loaded from Google's servers; your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com
Your rights
You can clear any data stored in your browser yourself, at any time. To have a contact-form message deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email jihadkhan0337@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
CVora is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date at the top.
