An agent asking you to pay for your visa, work permit or "recruitment"? Check what the law of the country you are going to says — and what Pakistan's emigration rules allow a licensed recruiter to charge.
Pick a country and a cost.

This opens our contact page with the details filled in. Nothing is sent until you press "Send message" there. You can also report an OEP to the Bureau of Emigration (BEOE) or the Protector of Emigrants.
Across the Gulf, the law puts the main costs of bringing a worker in on the employer: in the UAE the employer may not charge recruitment costs to the worker (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, Article 6); in Saudi Arabia the employer pays recruitment, iqama and work-permit fees (Labor Law, Article 40); Qatar, Oman and Bahrain forbid recruiters from taking money from workers for a job. Where the law we could check does not settle a cost, this page says so rather than guess.
Pakistan's rules are different: a licensed OEP may charge a capped service charge and recover the actual cost of your ticket, medical, visa and permit after you are selected. Always ask for a receipt with the OEP's seal for every rupee, never pay in cash without one, and never pay a sub-agent who is not a licensed OEP.
