- Use numbers: beds on the ward, patients per shift, medication rounds without errors. (Our advice.)
- If your licence is in progress, say so honestly, e.g. "DHA licence: passed exam, licence pending". (Our advice.)
FAQ
Where do I put my licence number on a nurse CV?
At the top, with your contact details. UK nurse CV guidance says to put your NMC PIN there, and the same works for DHA, DoH, MOHAP or SCFHS numbers.
Do I need SCFHS registration before applying in Saudi Arabia?
You need SCFHS classification and registration before you start work in the Kingdom. Registration needs lawful residence, so many nurses apply with classification done and registration pending. Follow the employer's instructions.
How long can a nurse CV be?
Two to four pages is fine for UK nursing CVs, according to Nurses.co.uk. For the Gulf, two pages is common.
