Who can apply
- A citizen of Pakistan with a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile (for most posts). You may hold one domicile only, issued before the closing date.
- Age is counted on the date set in the advertisement (for example 01.01.2025 in Advertisement 06/2025).
- Relaxations in that advertisement: up to 3 years for backward areas, up to 5 years for minorities, and up to 10 years for disabled candidates, divorced women and widows — only one category at a time. KPPSC links its Age Relaxation Rules 2008 (amended 20-06-2025) on the homepage.
- Government employees need a departmental permission certificate before the test or interview.
Documents to keep ready
- No documents are uploaded at the application stage, but every claim must later be "documentarily proven".
- Keep your domicile, CNIC, degrees, experience certificates and any relaxation certificate ready.
- Departmental permission certificate if you are a government employee.
Step by step

- Watch for your call letter. Call letters and rejection e-letters are published on the website. KPPSC has video tutorials on its official YouTube channel.

Common mistakes
Our advice, from how these applications usually go wrong:
- Holding two domiciles — KPPSC says this makes you ineligible.
- Claiming a qualification or relaxation you cannot prove; ineligible candidates can be rejected at any stage, even after the exam.
- Missing the 5:00 PM cut-off on the closing day.
- Expecting grace marks — KPPSC gives none.
Deadlines
- The closing date and time are in each advertisement (for example 15.09.2025 until 5:00 PM).
- Call letters appear on the website — check it rather than waiting for a message.
