Who can apply
- Eligibility is per advertisement. BPSC warns against applying without the required qualification, experience, gender, religion or domicile/local status for the post.
- Age limits are set in each advertisement; check your post's advert.
Documents to keep ready
- Your CNIC (or email) for the account, education records, experience and certificates — entered in the online form.
- The bank challan or treasury receipt for the fee: keep it and bring it to the exam. Do not post it to BPSC.
- The downloaded Candidate Application Form and Online Acknowledgement Receipt.
Step by step
- Create an account. On bpsc.gob.pk click "Apply Online", then "Create Account", fill your details and click "Register".
- Sign in. Sign in with your CNIC or email, password and the captcha (the button reads "SING IN NOW").
- Save your personal tab. Fill the Personal tab and click "SAVE" — this can be done only once, so check every field first.
- Add education, experience and certificates. Add each education record ("Add More Education Record"), then the Experience tab, then certificates.
- Apply to the advertisement. Click "Show Advertisement", open the post's "Description", then "Apply Now". Enter your bank challan details and click "Submit".
- Download your documents. Under Job History click "Document" to download the Candidate Application Form and the Online Acknowledgement Receipt.

Common mistakes
Our advice, from how these applications usually go wrong:
- Saving the Personal tab with a mistake — it can be saved only once.
- Applying for a post where your gender, religion or domicile/local status does not match the advertisement.
- Posting the challan to BPSC instead of keeping it for the exam.
- Fake or test applications — BPSC warns these "may cause serious difficulty" later.
Deadlines
- The closing date is in each advertisement; apply and pay before it.
- Keep the acknowledgement receipt as proof that you applied in time.
