Who can apply
- Eligibility is set post by post in each advertisement: education, experience, age limit, gender and domicile or zone.
- Read the advertisement and PPSC's "Important Instructions" (Facilitation Desk on the homepage) before applying — the form asks you to confirm you have.
- Age relaxation rules are in those instructions and the advert; check them there rather than relying on anyone's summary.
Documents to keep ready
- Your CNIC number, a working email address and mobile number (both are verified).
- A recent photograph and the front of your CNIC as images — each under 25 KB.
- Your qualification details (degrees, boards, marks, years) and service record if you are employed.
- Originals and copies of all certificates for later stages; PPSC calls for them when needed.
Step by step
- Choose the post. On ppsc.gop.pk click "Apply Online", select the post from the advertisement and click "Proceed".
- Read and accept. Read "Important Instructions" and the "EPay User Manual", tick the undertaking and click "Apply Online".
- Screen 1 – Personal Profile. Enter your CNIC, then your email and mobile and press "Verify". Fill your personal details, click "Save Information", then "Proceed".
- Screen 2 – Fee Payment. The system generates a PSID (a 17-digit EPay Punjab number) for this post. Pay it through ATM, mobile or internet banking, a 1Link member bank, JazzCash, Easypaisa or UPaisa, then click "Next".
- Screens 3 to 5. Upload your photograph and CNIC image, enter your qualifications, then your service record if any.
- Screen 6 – Submit. Click "Submit Application" and tick the undertaking. You receive an Application Number on screen and a Token Number by email and SMS — keep the token: you need it to edit or print.
Fees
Common mistakes
Our advice, from how these applications usually go wrong:
- Paying the PSID and stopping there — PPSC says fee payment does not mean your application is submitted.
- Using one PSID for two posts; each post needs its own.
- Uploading a photo or CNIC image over 25 KB, so the form will not save. Use our photo resizer to bring it under the limit.
- Losing the Token Number, then being unable to edit or print the application.
- Applying through "PPSC job" pages on social media — PPSC itself warns about fraudulent websites and pages.
Deadlines
- Each advertisement has its own closing date; the fee and all six screens must be done before it.
- PPSC usually publishes several consolidated advertisements a year — check the homepage and its "Beware of Fraudulent Websites" notice before trusting any other source.
