Who can apply
- Eligibility — domicile, age, education and experience — is set in each SPSC advertisement. Read the advert PDF for your post first.
- Age limits and any relaxation are in the advertisement and SPSC's recruitment rules; check them there.
- Government employees normally apply through proper channel — the advertisement says how.
Documents to keep ready
- Your CNIC and a password for the candidate portal.
- Education and experience details for the form, and scans the form asks for.
- Original documents and copies for scrutiny later; SPSC publishes deficiency and rejection lists by name, so keep everything ready.
Step by step
- Read the advertisement. Open the current advertisement on spsc.gov.pk (for example Advertisement 05/2026) and check your post's eligibility, fee and closing date.
- Create your account. Go to the candidate portal. New users click "Don't have an account? Sign Up" and register.
- Sign in. Sign in with "Enter Your CNIC" and your password. Use "Forgot your password?" to recover access.
- Apply online. Choose the post and fill the application. SPSC's help page has short videos: "How To Register New Account" and "How To Apply Online".
- Submit the fee challan. Pay the fee stated in the advertisement through the channel it names, then submit the challan in the portal ("How To Submit Challan").
- Download your online slip. Download and keep your slip ("How To Download Online Slip"). SPSC also lists a mobile app for submitting applications.

Common mistakes
Our advice, from how these applications usually go wrong:
- Following links to spsc.gos.pk or other look-alike domains; the official site is spsc.gov.pk.
- Skipping the challan submission step after paying.
- Not checking the deficiency list — SPSC publishes candidates whose documents are incomplete.
- Applying after the closing date: Advertisement 05/2026 closes on 23 October 2026.
Deadlines
- Each advertisement has its own closing date (05/2026: 23.10.2026). Apply and submit the challan before it.
- After closing, watch the Deficiency List and Rejection List pages for your name.
